Vodafone Turkey Chooses CMEx for Configuration Data Management

TTG International announced today that Vodafone Turkey has decided to implement TTG’s CMEx (Network Configuration Management Expert) in order to automatically leverage live mobile network configuration data to make well-informed, cost-efficient Network Planning and optimization decisions.

Nowadays, mobile operators are tasked with managing increasing mobile data volumes and delivering a high quality of experience (QoE) to end users, while keeping CAPEX and OPEX under control.

CMEx will help Vodafone to identify the differences between the live network configuration and the planned one in order improve further network quality. Over 5000 parameter settings per network element in Radio Access Network (RAN) are automatically controlled. Manually finding the misconfigured settings and inconsistencies is too difficult and time consuming to be practical.
