Turkey’s 5G Launch Event

The first phase of Turkey’s national 5G network project, initiated by Information and Communication Technologies Authority, was officially presented to public and authorities at an event hosted by Turkcell and supported by Turk Telekom and Vodafone. During this event 5G network components such as

– Core
– Switch/Router
– Element Management System (vTEM by TTG International)

were presented for the first time. The most important aspect of this project is that it serves as an exemplary business/engineering model in Turkey where 16 vendors, 3 operators and 10 universities are all work together for the same future goal.
